El fin se acerca

Welp, I'm sure many have read other "last email" letters from missionaries. I'm sure they have all talked about the mix of emotions. I'm sure they have all bore testimonies of the reality of the work of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I want all to know, I add my solemn testimony to those who have gone before me of the reality of Gods love, and the desire that He has for us to choose Him.

Two years ago, I saw the mission as a way to thank God for the things he had given me, a "hey thanks" gift to try and pay back the many things he has blessed me with. A tithing on my own life, if you will. How incredibly indebted I feel to the Lord for the many blessings he has given me here in Paraguay. How indebted I feel for the opportunity to have served and gotten to know Him. How humble I feel to know that my parents have done everything to get me on a mission and have me have these experiences. How good is our God.

How grateful I am to be so in debt to Him. Forever may I serve Him, Forever will I adore Him.

Prone to wander Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love. Take my heart, oh take and seal it! Seal it for thy courts above.

I pray these feelings may always be present in my heart as I try to now live a Christ-centered life in all aspects.

I thank everyone that was present with me during these two years and for the support that was given. I look forward to talking to you all soon. For anyone who actually reads this, I'll be giving my welcome home talk the 27 of August at 10:45 AM in the Temecula Stake Center. I hope to see you all there.

There has been no greater joy and no greater difficulty that I have yet felt, than in giving my all to this incredible work.

Rohayhu Paragauy.

For the last time,

Elder Parker J Yocum
