Sunday Surprise

Today I had a post come in from FB messenger from a name that I didn't recognize.  I was annoyed for a minute thinking that someone was spamming my account.  Just as I was thinking that I should just delete it, Elder Yocum's smiling face was staring at me from the post.  I promptly burst into tears and was so glad that I didn't delete it.  A sweet girl from the branch sent me several pictures and even a video of their afternoon with Parker.  They had a little family home evening together and did a role play of how to share the gospel with their friends.  Best Sunday surprise ever.  It is so great to hear his laugh and to hear him speaking in Spanish.  The older lady in the video is his "Paraguayan Momma" and has taken very good care of Parker while he has been in Paraguarí.

When Daisy sent the pictures she said:  "After a nice family home evening with the Franco and Salona family.  We are very happy to know Elder Yocum.  He is a great missionary and full of the Spirit. We are sad about the changes. . . but we know that this is how the missionary work advances."
