"My hero, Elder R"

Hey guys, as always the mission is crazy and awesome and I'm really loving every second of it. Even the parts I hate, and the small parts that have stopped bugging me, like how crappy the key board on this computer is. All thanks to prayer, I think. It's crazy, I can start seeing a lot of the changes I've made over the last 10 months.

 

This weeks main letter, sí o sí, is about the conference we had. We had a huge 3 zone conference that was SWEET! WOW, there was some serious cain dropping and some big changes in the mission. 

But, before getting into that, it was so cool because Elder C and I were asked to make and present a power point to all of the missionaries. the assistentes, and Pte and Hrma Wilson on the subject of 'OBEDIENCE.' What, are you freaking kidding me? Elder R, the AP (awesome guy) calls us and is like, hey yea you guys are going to do this, thanks.

I'm also not feeling that well. With the weather change and all the dust, I'm just really stuffed up, and I mean, you guys know me, I like entertaining a crowd. But the whole other language thing and the topic was making me a little nervous--but we KILLED IT. It was so cool and spiritual. We were even shocked to see Hermana Wilson taking notes on our talk, who is normally seen sleeping.

Plus, it was also cool because normally those who present are in leadership positions. But, it was cool to see the trust they have in us.

President dropped some serious cane. On the point of tears just said, I AM DONE. From this time forward, I don't care if you have a month in or a month till you leave.  A day in or a day till you leave. Those of you who do not want to be obedient, will be sent home. I will not burden other missionaries any longer with those who do not want to obey and want to impede the work.

It was a lot of crazy stuff, and I don't have a lot of time to write about it, but in the end I'm really proud to say he's my mission president and has an awesome heart and love for the work. Truly an inspired man.
