It's been a wild last couple of weeks.  I'm enjoying the mission a ton right now. Yeah, it's a lot of stress, and ya get cane dropped on you a lot as a zone leader. This past week we had an "emergency" leadership council where the AP's grilled us for 4 hours because the leaders of the mission have worse numbers than their missionaries, and we are working "ineffectively" (wakeup call) BUT it's fun!  I've leared stress is necessary and even fun when you can control it. 

 

Everything from teaching lessons to contacting has gotten a lot easier and a lot more fun with Elder R. We leave our apartment every day with just a BOM in our hands and 3 more in our fanny packs, and come home tired and empty handed with a ton of new people and progression and stories. Every day blows by really fast and is well enjoyed. 

 

I sent home some pics and wanna explain a few of them.

 

 

Last Friday, we celebrated the birthday of Hrma E, and how do you celebrate here? You wrap a cows head in tin foil and cook it for 4 hours. I remember watching E, one of the daughters, start screaming as it came out of the oven she was so excited to eat it. It was a giggling excitment that she couldn't contain, and was so excited to eat the tongue and brains. 

 

 

 

We were able to have a wedding this week which was cool, for M and A, two amazing people in that ward. It is so crazy to think he is my age, but they are both really awesome and it was cool to be there for them. 

 

 

Things here make my brain hurt. There is a lot of hard things in life and it's frustrating, even to see in myself how easy it is to not trust in the Lord. I think it happens most when we are scared, but I think we just kind of complicate things more. Our free agency really has to be the most frustrating thing to our Heavenly Father. 

I downloaded the conference talks in English and was listening to them thoughout the week. hahaha it seems like a totally different conference to me. English and hearing their real voices is SO much better!
