| Mission Conference with Argentina CCM President Benton |
Life is fun, and so is the mission.
This last week we had the Argentina MTC President come to the mission for the zone conferences. It was nice because he took up a lot of the time, which meant that we didn't have to worry too much about the powerpoints. He talked a lot about goal setting and the importance of unity in the companionship. He is a really funny guy, and brought a lot of "spice" to the zone conferences. Many said that it was a conference way different than any other conference that they had had in the past. It's true haha.
This week was an awesome and sad week for the work in our area. L is still have problems with her husband, who doesn't want to get married, but i don't understand why. I think it comes from a lack of communication between the two. Just goes to show that it's something important haha. But in other news, G and B have progressed in a HUGE way. They are both old investigators that all of a sudden saw some big miracles in their lives, and came to church this last week. There they had such a great experience, and it helped them understand to the point that they have been reading and studying every day in the Book of Mormon and are really excited for their baptism this next Saturday. (B is a big maybe, hopefully he can get his paperwork figured out for the wedding that they are going to need to have this next Saturday.)
But yes, things are going well here in Paraguay. I have gotten a few comments that I "look dead" and maybe they're right, but I don't care so much as how I look, but how I feel. I love it down here, and we are just going to keep working hard and seeing what happens in two weeks for changes.
Hope everything goes well at Powell. I didn't know that it would just be the boys. Is it for the scouts? I thought that wasn't even a thing anymore?
We were talking this last week and I realized I had forgotten how much we used to play things like card and board games back in the day. Family nights playing cowboy and up and down the river. haha Thinking about those things gets me super excited for a road trip when I get back home. Just feel really blessed and like everything is falling into place.
Have a great week.
